Deposit and Final Payment Policy
Version 2026-06-29. Current Founder Batch status: updates are open; payments are not open yet.
The deposit holds a place, not the full order price.
The planned $19 deposit is refundable before final payment. A Founder Batch unit is reserved only after payment opens and the deposit is captured successfully.
If Dockix cannot deliver
If Dockix cannot prepare the unit after payment opens, Dockix will refund the deposit automatically.
Final payment waits until your unit is complete.
After the unit is assembled and tested, Dockix sends notice for the $130 balance. The final-payment notice opens a seven-day payment window.
An expired final-payment window enters manual review. Expiry does not automatically mean that a prepared unit is canceled or reassigned.
Refund method
An approved refund is returned through the original payment method when available. Provider processing time is outside Dockix's control.
